Anime/Manga Zone

Here are some of my favorite anime and manga. Yeah, I know, I'm a sucker for the art style. Alphabetized by title. And I captured this screencap myself. Use if you would like, I don't require any asking or linking back or anything.

Card Captor Sakura
The cutest fourth grader (Just ask Tomoyo) develops her magic powers while protecting the world from the magic Clow Cards. Hanya . . .

Card Captor Studio - For all your Card Captor Sakura needs. Little that they don't have.

Rabi's Card Captor Sakura Page - Older page, but excellent general information.

Card Captor Sakura v. Cardcaptors - This site not only has good general information, but explains exactly what people who only saw Cardcaptors are missing.

Kawaii Sakura Shrine - A shrine to our favorite girl, Sakura. Also with a link to a new Tsubasa section.
Dragon Ball Z
Okay, so I watched this one once upon a time. The thing that makes it worth the time? Trunks.

Temple O' Trunks - The place to go for all your Trunks needs.
Fruits Basket
Tohru is the nicest high school girl. Even though she's an orphan, she looks on the bright side of life. She is taken in by the Sohma family, who have a dark secret of their own. But Tohru is just the person to bring light back into their lives.

Dai Bouken - Hasn't been updated in a while, but lots of good general information.
Full Metal Alchemist
Brothers Ed and Al, both alchemists, are determined to find the philosopher's stone, to undo tragic mistakes they have made.

Hagane no Renkinjutsushi - Tons of information on both the anime and manga.
Gundam Wing/Gundam Seed
Cute boys and mecha? What more could you ask for?

Gundam Seed Net - Lots of information not only on Seed and Destiny, but many other Gundam incarnations as well. Includes a forum.
Hikaru no Go
You never knew that a board game could be so exciting!

Hikaru no Go World - A comprehensive site with tons of great information. Also in French.

Kyou Kara Maou
This show is hilarious. And it has tons of cute guys.

Kyou Kara Maou - A good site full of information, although it has not been updated for a while.

Portrait of a Demon King - An extensive gallery with scans from everywhere.
Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok
The trickster God of Norse mythology being exiled to Earth equals mayhem.

Hemuloki - The community for those who enjoy Loki.
Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers
One of the first anime I ever watched, still nostalgic. Plus, you gotta love the guys.

Personal Ronin Page - Mirror and Image's homepage with info, fan fic, and fan art on the boys. I've been visiting for years:)

Event Horizon - Theria's archived site, very authoritative.

Samurai Fanservice - The community for Trooper fans online.
Rurouni Kenshin
A hitokiri seeking redemption vows to protect the innocent and never kill again.

Maigo-Chan's Rurouni Kenshin Translations - Just what it says.

Rurouni Kenshin Romantation - An excellent general site.
Sailor Moon
My first anime and manga. Girls can save the day too!

The Manga of Takeuchi Naoko - Don't like the way Tokyo Pop translated Sailor Moon? Read translations of this and many of the works of Takeuchi Nakoto.

The Sailor Senshi Page - A good general information site.
Saiunkoku Monogatari
Originally a light novel, now an anime and manga that is just too gorgeous! It is set in a mythical China-like country (Saiunkoku). Shuurei is the daughter of a noble but poor house. She is asked to become the Emperor's concubine in order to make him a proper emperor.

Wikipedia - This will give you all the general information you need.

Live Journal - This is the Live Journal Saiunkoku group I belong to. Tons of goodies, maybe someday I will even contribute. (Gomen!)

Saiunkoku Archives - Since there wasn't a real site out there . . . I am sort of building one. (Shameless self promotion.) We're back!
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
Just when you thought Sakura and Syaoran's adventures were over, they begin again. Only it's not the Sakura and Syaoran we know from Card Captor Sakura. For the flip side of the story, see Xxxholic.

Loop - For all your Tsubasa needs, particularly for the anime. You can see their Xxxholic sister site at Link.
Natsume Yuu-jin Chou
This is my newest favorite: the story of a young man named Natsume who can see spirits. It doesn't help that he inherited a very valuable book from his grandmother who also had strange abilities. Yeah, spirits can really complicate, and yet enrich your life it seems.

Wikipedia - No personal sites for the series yet, but you can get all the basic information here.
World Masterpiece Theater
The stories may be slow, but they are also well done. If you like the classics, this is for you: Heidi, Polyanna, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, Les Misrables, and A Little Princess are just some of the ones they have done over the years.

Wikipedia - Your one stop for informaton on all of the series they have done over the years.
Kaze no Shoujo Emily

My new favorite, based on Emily of New Moon by L. M. Montomary.

Anime News Network - The article for the anime on this site. Even wikipeida doesn't have anything for this amazing series.

Wikipedia - The page for the novel, tons of great information.

Aqua/Aria

This is such a laid back, relaxing show and the planet Aqua is one of the most lovingly depicted and explored worlds I have ever come across.

Anime News Network - The lowdown on the manga, the anime, and everything in between.

Kobato

Fluffy is the only way to describe this wonderful anime. Same with the manga by CLAMP.

Fukanou na Shigoto - A fansite that covers the manga and the anime.
